Last Day in Italy – Pisa and Florence

On the last day in Italy, we spent it exploring Florence and Pisa. When we rearranged our travel agenda, we ended up canceling our Venice tour and in place, booked the Taste of Testaccio Food Tour (read more here), and a day tour to Florence and Pisa. In the end, I’m glad we booked this tour so I could see more of Italy, I’ll just have to rebook a Venice tour when I go back to Italy.

The Leaning Tower and Fallen Angel

I stopped with so many others, standing awkwardly to get the perfect picture while taking instructions from my sister behind the camera. I think I followed directions and got a couple of good pictures.

Can’t go wrong with a selfie!

Michelangelo’s David

In Florence, we had some downtime for lunch and shopping. After, we visited two of the three statues of Michaelangelo’s David. We visited the two replicas, the authentic 17-foot-tall Statue of David is currently located in the Accademia Gallery.

The next day, we headed back to Paris to prepare to head home and just like that, my trip to Europe was coming to an end. Overall, I had an amazing time and conquered my crazy travel agenda to see as much of Paris and Italy as I could in 8 days.
