After spending a few days in Paris, we packed up and caught a flight to Rome to start our Italy adventures! My sister and I planned for a jam-packed trip with back-to-back tours booked. We were determined to try and experience as much as we could during our time in Italy.

Initially, we had tours booked for Tuscany, Rome, and Venice, but at the last minute, we swapped out Venice for a day tour of Florence and Pisa. For this post, I’ll focus on the Tuscany tour…but more to come about my other tours in Italy.

The Tour

During my research for this trip, I found this amazing City Wonders tour for approximately $145. The tour started early and we met at the center of Piazza del Popolo to meet our tour guide. After a short walk to our tour bus, we boarded and started our journey to Tuscany!

The tour included visits to the medieval towns of Montepulciano, Abbey of Sant’Antimo, and Pienza and lunch at a Tuscan winery. Check out the photos below, the images don’t do the beautiful hills of Tuscany any justice! I’ve included captions for more details.
