It was in 2013 when I bought my first home I came across this wall art that said: “Let your faith be bigger than your fear.” In the buying and closing process, there is so much to be fearful about, and seeing this wall art was a reminder to not let my fears get in the way, instead, have faith.

In February, I attended a gala to celebrate the life of an awesome man, God-brother, and the founder of Magic Minds Inc. It was a true celebration and a beautiful evening of fellowship. The favor from the gala was a small composition notebook with a pen, and we were told to write down our goals. The significance of a composition notebook to my God-brother is that it was in a composition notebook that Magic Minds Inc. was founded, the business plan was written, and he and the founders stepped out on of faith.

In January I began planning what to do for my 35th birthday. A trip out of the country was not in the budget, and as I started brainstorming I realized the Create & Cultivate Conference was in LA the weekend of my birthday. The flight price was right, I had somewhere to stay, and would have time to hang with one of my best friends, it all just seemed meant to be. I attended Create & Cultivate solo, which was a major step out of my comfort zone, but I was ready to grow and glow.

In November I decided to give my kitchen a little update. About two years ago my realtor told me about a countertop paint kit she used and loved. When I was ready to update my kitchen I thought about the paint kit again and fell in LOVE with the Giani Marble Countertop Paint Kit, both the outcome and the price.
